Wilderness Skills

In this every changing unexpected world we need to prepare more than ever for anything is possible. We want to empower youth to expand their ability to get outside and explore no matter if it is the backyard, neighborhood park or nearby forest. Morning camp sessions will be spent story building and developing forest "ninja” movements while weaving in a new skill to learn and practice every day.

1. Plan ahead and prepare.

2. Maps and orienteering

3. Shelter building techniques

4. Plant identification

The 2pm virtual gathering will give campers an opportunity to share adventures and contemplate how these new skills promote environmental stewardship.
