Botanical Crafters

Craft: an activity involving skill in making things by hand. Botanical: relating to plants. Put these two together and you get BOTANICAL CRAFTERS!

Our creativity comes from learning about the plants around us; how they relate to one another; to their physical surroundings and how we relate to them. This camp we will use ecology to inspire crafting. Each day campers will discover the awe and wonder of a new plant. Using this knowledge, they will learn a new craft to accompany the plant(s). Hammer prints, stencil rubs, natural dyes/paints are a few of the activities campers can expect to play with. Prepare for a week of fun filled hands on making!
